A moment to remember

 

    The 123rd High School Day celebration of Ilocos Sur National High School was truly unforgettable. The school was filled with excitement, joy, and pride as students, teachers, and alumni came together to honor the long and rich history of our school. I felt proud to be part of such a meaningful event. The field demonstrations, performances, and creative presentations from each grade level showed our unity and talent. It was not just a celebration—it was a reflection of how far ISNHS has come and how strong our school spirit remains.

    For me, the most special part of the day was the time spent with my classmates and teachers. We laughed, had fun, and created memories that I will carry with me even after I leave high school. Seeing alumni join the celebration was inspiring—it made me realize that ISNHS doesn’t just educate students, it builds a lifelong community. The legacy of those who came before us motivates me to continue striving for excellence and to make a difference, just like they did.

    The yearly celebration of ISNHS’ founding is significant because it reminds us of our growth, and the values that the school has given in generations of learners. It gives us a chance to pause, look back, and appreciate the contributions of teachers, staff, students, and alumni who shaped the school into what it is today. More than anything, it strengthens our identity as ISNHSians and inspires us to carry forward the legacy of excellence, discipline, and service to others.

The end of the beginning

  

     Looking back on my last quarter before moving to Senior High School, I realize how much I have learned and grown. I have gained valuable knowledge in different subjects, improved my problem-solving skills, and developed better study habits. More importantly, I have learned the importance of perseverance, time management, and self-discipline. These lessons have prepared me not only for academic success but also for the challenges that lie ahead in my educational journey.

    Despite my accomplishments, this quarter also came with its fair share of challenges. Balancing multiple subjects, meeting deadlines, and preparing for final assessments were overwhelming at times. There were moments when I felt pressured and uncertain about my future path. However, I faced these challenges by staying focused, seeking guidance from my teachers and classmates, and managing my time wisely. I reminded myself that every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and with determination, I can overcome any obstacle.

    Moving on to Senior High School, I will embrace this new chapter with confidence and a positive mindset. I will continue to work hard, stay motivated, and explore opportunities that will help me grow both academically and personally. I am excited for the journey ahead and determined to take every step toward achieving my dream of becoming a successful engineer.

My Dream, My Future

     Fifteen years from now, I see myself as a successful engineer, making a significant impact in my field. I envision working on innovative projects that solve real-world problems, using my skills to design and build structures, systems, or technologies that improve lives. Through hard work, continuous learning, and dedication, I will establish myself as a competent and reliable professional, contributing to advancements in engineering.

    Beyond professional success, I also see myself growing as a leader in my industry. I hope to inspire future engineers, mentor young professionals, and advocate for sustainable and efficient solutions in my field. My goal is not just to achieve personal success but also to be part of a community that pushes the boundaries of innovation. United for Equality

   

  The topic "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" emphasizes the collaborative effort required to build a society in which everyone, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities.  Gender equalit6y cannot be achieved exclusively through the efforts of women; it involves the active engagement of all persons, including men, women, and non-binary people.  When we work together, we overcome obstacles, challenge biases, and create a society in which everyone is appreciated and respected.

     People with different backgrounds, skills, and identities have a right to feel heard and accepted in an inclusive society.  This requires dealing with inequalities that block growth and ensuring fair access to economic opportunities, leadership roles, and education.  Promoting equality creates an environment where diversity is respected, and all individual's contributions result in positive development

    True progress happens when we move beyond words and take meaningful action. Supporting policies that promote gender equality, standing against discrimination, and amplifying the voices of marginalized groups are essential steps toward lasting change. When we unite for this cause, we build a future where fairness, respect, and empowerment define our communities. Together, we can make gender equality a reality.
